How to Measure

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight. Wear the bra you'd typically wear with the garment for the most accurate measurement.
Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Don't suck in or pull the tape too tight. A relaxed, natural posture gives the best result.
Measure around the widest part of your hips and backside, keeping the tape level all the way around. Stand with your feet together for the most consistent measurement.

Fit Tips by Style

Pleated styles are forgiving through the hip and skirt — the pleats add natural ease and movement. Size based on your waist measurement. If you're between sizes, your usual size should work since the pleats accommodate a range.
Shirt dresses have a more structured fit through the bodice with buttons down the front. Size based on your bust measurement to avoid pulling at the buttons. If you're fuller in the bust and smaller in the waist, size up and use the belt to define the waist.
Belted styles are designed to cinch at the waist, so the belt does a lot of the shaping work. Focus on bust and hip measurements — the belt is adjustable and will handle the waist. Sizing up gives a more relaxed drape while still looking polished when belted.
A-line and flowy silhouettes are the most relaxed fit in our collection. They skim rather than hug. Size based on your bust measurement — the skirt will flow freely from the waist or empire line. These are great if you prefer a looser, more comfortable fit.
For tops, bust is your primary measurement. Our tops are designed with modest coverage in mind — higher necklines and longer sleeves — so they tend to fit true to size. Knit tops have more natural stretch and flexibility than woven styles.
For skirts, waist and hip are your key measurements. Pleated skirts are more forgiving through the hip, while pencil or straight skirts fit closer to the body. If your waist and hip measurements fall in different sizes, size for the hip and the waist can usually be adjusted with the fit of the garment.
